Met or MET in Met Time, doesn't refer to either MET - Middle European Time or CET - Central European Time. Neither to MET as the NYSE ticker symbol for MetLife, The Metropolitan Police Service, The Metropolitan Opera or The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, The New York Mets baseball team, The Metropolitan Sports Center, or Met Center, The Metropolitan Stadium, Met-Art, or Most Erotic Teens, Metlink, Met (Mega Man), Methylethyltryptamine - a hallucinogenic tryptamine, Mobile Equipment Transporter, Methionine (an essential nonpolar amino acid and lipotropic), Mind's Eye Theatre (a live action role-playing game), Mechanical engineering technology (a technical field of study and practice), Met as unit describing thermal comfort, one of the three towers in the Metropolitan Miami complex in Miami, Florida, Metro Edmonton Transit, a proposed future incarnation of the Edmonton Transit System, nor a short form describing the genetic disorder Hypermethioninemia.

In aerobics is MET a metabolic equivalent as a measure of the intensity of the aerobic exercise or training, and we can say the critical moment when the past efforts in training sends it's light on the need of future exercising. It's more of this short time focusing sense of a beautiful insight oriented momento in life, the concept of MetTime should be understood and defined. The MetTime are the moment here and now, when past suddenly sends light on future in an aesthetic experience of reflective contemplation. Without going to far we can also extend the MetTime-concept to a wider Metro Time analogy describing the here and now days of our lives e.g. last week and weeks to come. The MetTime concept should also be understood literally as 'we have met the time' (the real understanding of e.g. birth and death) and have taken some important enlightenment from this position of our knowledge.
